The activities we have prepared for this experience range from cooking to wood chopping to suit everyone’s taste. One can develop their skills in crafts with wool spinning activities or for those who prefer a more active experience they can join hiking tours or test their strength at wood chopping.

And talking about testing – we also prepared a wide variety of competitions. Find out who’s the best in your team at:
– Baking bread;
– Chopping wood;
– Picking mushrooms;
– Baking traditional sweet bread (cozonac).
All this while enjoying our finest meals made with fresh and organic ingredients. If you join us in the summertime you can help us in making our homemade goodies: jam, pepper paste (zacuscă) or pickles. All around year you can test your skills in preparing cheese, sour cream, traditional rolled cabbage (sarmale), Romanian pies (plăcinte).

Prepare an evening to remember with music and dance. Invite the village’s folk band (ceterașii) and enjoy the traditional music of the region. To make it even more special, the children of the village (Coconii satului) will have a dance performance and take you dancing to the rhythms of Maramureș. Get together and give your team an excellent celebration!

Year-Long Activities

 

Regardless of time of the year, there are many activities you can choose from anytime: making straw baskets, handcrafting, farm animals care, loom weaving, wool spinning, bread making or traditional foods making.

Leisure Activities

 

If you want to relax and enjoy the nature, here are the perfect activities for you: hiking, rural entertainment, sightseeing, picking plants for tea, nettle picking or honey making. Of course, there’s also always the option of simply chilling on the porch and enjoying the fresh air.

Seasonal Activities

 

Become part of the celebration and join our seasonal activities. In the springtime we paint eggs for Easter and make jam. Summer is for berries and mushroom picking and cheese making, and then comes autumn with liquor making (țuică) and wood chopping. During the winter, we bake traditional goodies and go sledding.

The Poppy House

Capacity: 6 people.

Partitioning: 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, kitchen and dining room.

* The cottage is rented for a group of at least 6 people, with the possibility of supplementing the beds. *

Vitality and purity are two of the symbols of poppy flowers. Likewise, the house whose name it bears was dressed up for cheerful days and dance – with all that we found most colorful.

The Dandelion House

Capacity: 6 people.

Partitioning: 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, kitchen and dining room.

* The cottage is rented for a group of at least 6 people, with the possibility of supplementing the beds. *

With a gentle adventure air, the Dandelion House, like the flower, inspires you to get carried away with the beauties of the area and the mystery of village traditions. It also has a therapeutic effect: it helps you disconnect from everyday!

The Forget-Me-Not Flower House

Capacity: 9 people.

Partitioning: 3 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, kitchen and dining room.

* The cottage is rented for a group of at least 6 people, with the possibility of supplementing the beds. *

When we were little, our grandmother told us about the “Do Not Forget Me” flowers: “They are gentle and tender, a symbol of love and memories …”. So is our little house: cozy, imposing and welcoming.

The Sunflower House

Capacity: 6 people.

Partitioning: 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, kitchen and dining room.

The Sunflower is known for the infinite love that bears on the Sun, wherever He is, she turns its head. As for the house, from every corner you would look, it is comforted by the sun’s rays  every hour of the day.

The Clover House

How many times have we ever wanted to find a four-leaf clover that would bring us luck? Just because it is so hard to find, the four-leaf clover is associated with luck.
